October~Spinal Health Month

In recognition of October's National Spinal Health Month, I invite you all to consider the factors that impact our spinal health and overall quality of life. Remember, the most critical component to our health is our central nervous system. It originates in the brain, channels down through our spinal column, and extends to each and every part of our body. Our spines were designed to protect this delicate, intricate connection of nerves. Misalignments of the spinal bones can irritate the nervous system, thus dampening the nervous impulses travelling from the brain out to the various parts of our bodies. Thankfully, we have control over our choices, habits, and lifestyles which can have a tremedous impact on our spinal health. Take a moment to evaluate the following areas:

1. Nutrition & Supplementation

2. Exercise

3. Adequate Rest

4. Stress Management

5. Sleeping/Postural Habits

6. Regular spinal checks by your chiropractor!!
