As the holidays begin to approach, I invite you to take a moment to reflect on your blessings. We are most thankful for a wellness center that is abundant with wonderful patients and the opportunity to be of service to each one of you. We are blessed with health and gracious to be surrounded with your love and support. Thank you for being a part of that. It has been brought to our attention that our local Pennridge children are especially in need this year. Many children, right here in our neighborhood, are in need of winter outerwear including mittens, hats, scarves, and jackets. Please consider joining us in supporting our children and providing them with some warm wear for the winter months. We will be collecting donations at the Wellness Center and decorating our holiday tree with mittens of all sizes and colors.

Webster Technique--For Pregnant Women

Dr. Heidi will be earning her certification in the Webster Technique from the International Chiropractic Pediactric Association on November 7th & 8th. This highly successful technique is designed to restore pelvic balance and function to the pregnant mother, which encourages breech babies to turn into the proper birthing position.

Living With Hope

Dr. Heidi and Jill will be out in the community on Friday, July 31st spreading the wonderful word of chiropractic and wellness care. PWC was invited to attend Living With Hope-Summer Camp 2009 at Branch Creek Community Church in Harleysville.The event is proudly coordinated by the Parish Nurse Program of the Delaware Valley Region. Summer camp will provide a time of renewal for those involved in Health Ministry and those affected by cancer. Our hope is that we are able to reach out to these individuals through education and natural wellness care.

Three generations of firefighters were present at the ceremony. Carole Miller (center), an EMT in Silverdale, received an achievement award for completing Firefighter 1 Certification. She’s congratulated by her father Joe Deangelis, a firefighter with the Bristol Consolidated Fire Co., and her daughter Gentilina Miller, an EMT and firefighter with Silverdale. Miller’s son is also a firefighter.
