Dr. Leah Garlan Specializes in Alternative Care for Animals

Dr. Leah Garlan is a human chiropractor that specializes in alternative care for animals at the Silverdale Wellness Center. She also breeds beautiful crossbred ponies at her farm, Dreamland Ponies, in Silverdale, PA. After getting her Doctor of Chiropractic degree she also became certified by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA). She's helped several paralyzed dogs walk again and has assisted numerous horses and dogs to return to the show ring. Chiropractic is the science, art and philosophy of correcting spinal misalignments to increase the range of motion, flexibility and overall health. Dr. Leah commented that "In my experience, the majority of the animals I work with enjoy getting adjusted. I notice that they relax when they sense you are there to help them and make them feel better."


Star Rabbit is a 2007 colt by Rocky Rabbit and is owned and was bred by Dr. Leah Garlan. Star Rabbit is out of Dr. Leah's imported mare *Talponciau Blodyn (see photo on right). Dr Leah breeds crossbred ponies at her farm Dreamland Ponies, Silverdale, PA. Star Rabbit is going to a handler for training, so watch for him next year at Devon!
